AcheAngel® is committed to complying with The General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018 once enacted and will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure the safety and security of member data.

AcheAngel® will not sell, distribute, or lease members' personal information to third parties unless members' have given relevant permission to do so or, it is required to do so by law.  Acheangel may send promotional information about third parties, which  it believes would be of interest to members, unless members opt out in writing.

The law says this must be with one or more of the following reasons:

• Contract - personal information is processed in order to fulfill a contractual arrangement. Personal data is recorded and used only by AcheAngel® for the purpose of the continuity of treatment. 

• Consent - agreement to AcheAngel® using and storing your information e.g., for continuity and progression of treatment, contact or payment.

• Legitimate Interests -  where items are purchased from AcheAngel® for delivery details would need to be forwarded to a third party delivery company.

• Legal Obligation - where there is statutory or other legal requirement to share the information, e.g.,  law enforcement purposes.

 

Under the Data Subject Rights  you are entitled to request the following from AcheAngel®:

• Right of access - to ask for access and information about how your personal information is processed.

• Right of rectification - to have your personal information corrected or completed if inaccurate or incomplete.

• Right to erasure or Right to be forgotten - to have your information erased.

• Right to restrict processing of your personal information.

• Right to data portability - right to electronically move, copy or transfer your personal data to a standard form.

• Right to object - to oppose the processing of your personal data.

Records of client data will only be kept for a maximum period of six years from the last date of contact or last date of treatment and will then be permanently removed.

 

As a business AcheAngel® is required to obtain client consent when using personal data for contact purposes, e.g., to receive any blog updates or news.  You will have the option to opt out of receiving such notifications but please bear in mind that this may also mean that important news or responses about appointments could also become blocked by your preferences.
